The specialisation in decking and timber structures originally came as a solution
to the challenges of dealing with the general landscape in the Peak area.
The method of construction of decks has developed
from original methods which were new to British gardens, when I first started landscaping in the early
90's, but were commonly used in North America and Northern Europe.
The 'Rustic' timber work, also
used in some hand rails, is unique to Shire Gardens and is all custom made to order.
We supply/construct bespoke fencing & gates, stone walling/patios,
water features and many other landscaping features.
We can also design/construct custom built timber buildings and also
offer interior and exterior home improvements & a landscape maintenance service. Please note that as we
are a small business there are NO VAT charges on any of our services.
In all work carried out I have an attention to detail and an approach to quality which may sometimes mean
that a job may take slightly longer than some others, but means that I have never had a customer who is not satisfied
with my work and most of my customers come by word of mouth or repeat. My work ethic is if a job is worth doing, its worth
doing well.
